When you have 21 tabs open and don't know where to start....

Whether it's 21 tabs in your brain or 21 tabs on your laptop, the problem is the same: everything is open, everything needs you and your brain has no idea what to give priority to.

So first, dump it all out. Five minutes. Pen and paper. No organising, no prioritising, no making it pretty. Just get it out of your head and somewhere you can see it.

Then: Rule of Three.

Look at the whole messy list and ask:

What are the three things that actually matter today? Not the three loudest. Not the three easiest. The three that move something forward.

Everything else can stay on the list and are no longer buzzing around in your brain.

Tick them off... then go back to the list for the next three.
